Summary of Job Responsibility
In order to support the Company’s operating and project activities such as manufacturing, purchasing, selling, constructing, Finance & Treasury Manager administers (i) Treasury, (ii) Planning, (iii) Special missions, (iv) General matters, in compliance with Company’s policies as well as generally accepted accounting principles and other regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
[Finance & Treasury] 1. Assisting Division Manager in Supervising the payment to vendors, creditors and employees, in order to prevent and, or find dishonesties or mistakes, by regularly checking the operation of payment and receives.
2. Assisting Division Manager in authorizing to make deposit at banks, in order to make the best use of funds, by regularly checking the operation of fund applications and surrounding banking situations.
3. Assisting Division Manager in authorizing the transfer of money from the bank account to the other bank account or petty cash box, in order to fulfill the duties mentioned in the above No. 1 and No. 2, by regularly checking the operation of bank transfer and petty cash payment.
4. Checking, reviewing and anticipating the balance of each bank account and petty cash as of the end of the month in order to secure the company’s property, by collaboration with Finance and Treasury Supervisor and then report and propose proper – suitable measures to Division Manager.
5. Assisting Division Manager in arranging the short-term bank loan, in order to finance the short-term cash shortage, by negotiating and coordinating with banks and finance department of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation.
6. Assisting Division Manager in supervising and authorizing the selection of funding period for the short term bank loan, in order to make the best use of funds, by checking the short term payment schedule and quotation of applicable interest rate for each funding period.
7. Supervising regularly the operation and implementation of Electronic Banking System.
8. Proposing favorable conditions of financial transactions such as selection of loan borrowing, foreign exchange transaction, banking operations, LC, security transactions, etc. subject to approval of Division Manager.
[Planning] 9. Assisting Division Manager in preparing operational plans and annual budget proposals for finance division.
10. Confirming that the process of Calculating and drawing up the Company’s annual budget including B/S, P/L, C/F and Tax Effect are taken place properly.
11. Confirming that the calculation process of the Company’s financial forecast in short-term basis and/ or middle term basis mostly for cash flow are taken place properly.
12. Ensuring that all activities related to the function of finance division are complied with relevant Acts and legal demands and ethical standards by consulting with Authorities.
[Special Mission] 13. Performing special missions as assigned by Finance Division Manager.
[General] 14. Keeping Division Manager fully informed of all significant matters regarding the function of finance division.
15. Assisting Division Manager in developing policies, guidelines, and procedures throughout the Company.
16. Conducting the preparation of operational manual for finance and treasury works including insurance.
17. Proposing an effective system of the finance and treasury work.
18. Maintaining a professional and team like approach and relationship with other organization units in the Company.
19. Maintaining good relationship with external parties, especially banks and regulators.
20. Obtaining useful information from external parties.
21. Assisting Division Manager in performing personnel performance review of Finance and Treasury members.
22. Supervising and training finance & treasury members.
23. Performing other tasks as assigned by Director and/or Division Manager |
