Summary of Job Responsibility

Responsible for development, planning, managing, coordinating and controlling all activities related to  TPA & PET Plant production and technical improvement activities to ensure the achievement of production targets within quality standard of PTA and PET required by the market  at minimal cost and comply with QSHE Management System.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

1.       Provide strategic recommendation to Factory General Manager on pertaining matters to manufacturing policies, procedure, and objective.

2.       Assist Factory General Manager in the establishment and maintenance of plant operating manuals, improving operation policies and procedures.

3.       Prepare and recommend manufacturing operational plans and budgets for Factory General Manager’s approval.

4.       Direct and control the whole production activities including raw material preparation, production volume, rate, cost and quality to comply with approved production plan.

5.       Responsible to coordinate plant shutdown for maintenance or repairmen.

6.       Ensure that all areas of Manufacturing Division are operating efficiently and comply with QSHE Management System to enable stable operation.

7.       Establish and controls necessary action for the achievement of production efficiency and/or optimizing product quality.

8.       Ensure that all manufacturing strategic objective and process are conducted in accordance with the established safety and operation procedures.

9.       Review, evaluate and analyze strategic recommendations from all divisions and sections with respect to improvement of manufacturing system, coordinate technical study to achieve cost reduction.

10.    Identify, evaluate and analyze the operational gap in the manufacturing systems and recommend modifications to improve them.

11.    Responsible for developing next leaders in Manufacturing for business sustainability.

12.    Responsible for evaluate and improve the orientation programs (coordinate with HR&Pers section) for newly hired personnel as well as training programs for other personnel under his/her charge.

13.    Direct the preparation of reports and/or presentations on production activities, project and targets on a timely basis as required.

14.    Keep the Factory General Manager fully informed on all significant developments concerning manufacturing matters including daily output of production, capacity.

15.    Maintain a professional and team like approach and relationship with other organizational units in factory.

16.    Perform performance appraisal of direct subordinates and review results of performance appraisal submitted by subordinates of their staff.

17.    Ensure that all activities related to the function comply with relevant acts, legal demands and ethical standards.

Perform other tasks as assigned by Factory General Manager.
