Summary of Job Responsibility
The Shift Operator has the primary responsibility in execute Shift work for keeping the safe and stable plant operation of PET process production in order to achieve the production targets and Standard ISO-9002 , ISO 14001 system in Manufacturing 2 Division. This position will execute create effectively and efficiency process production operational, execute improvement process production program
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and check the process conditions on the display of DCS system every time to keep the safe and stable plant operation.
- If operator found some abnormality on DCS and/ or plant site, operator must inform his superior as soon as possible.
- Operate and adjust each process control item on DCS to keep the operation scope.
- Record the process data on DCS twice per one shift to check the operation conditions comparing with our operation scope.
- Patrol the plant site to record the plant conditions twice per one shift comparing with our operation scope.
- Perform the daily, weekly and monthly regular work under the supervision of Shift Group Leader, according to the operation standard (SOP). See the attachment in detail.
- Take all samples to analyze, according to the SOP and instruction manual.
- Get the analysis data form QA Section on the telephone to record these data. And inform Shift Group Leader.
- Report the results of his works to Shift Group Leader.
- Perform the operations to improve it if the operation condition is out of scope, according to the instruction of Shift Group Leader.
- Keep the safety and environmental MCCI rule according to company regulation and ISO 14001 system.
- Perform the works in the instruction manuals for the daily operation under the supervision of Shift Group Leader.
- Inform operators in the next shift about the current plant conditions at the shift change time.
- Take the temporary and/ or emergency countermeasure if some trouble and/ or accident take place under the supervision of Shift Group Leader.
- Perform the safety procedure for the maintenance works of all facilities and equipment under supervision of Shift Group Leader, according to the work permission system.
- Witness and watch the maintenance works by Sub-contractors until finish, considering the safety matter. After that, report the results to Shift Group Leader.
- Perform the flushing work, leak test and test run after the finish of the maintenance works under the supervision of Shift Group Leader, according to the instruction manual.
- Perform other special tasks requested by Shift Group Leader.
- Perform other special tasks assigned by Process Section Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Perform 5S activity especially cleaning work in plant site at the least once pershift.
- Perform Hatto Hiyari activity.
- Perform Kaizen Teian activity
- Perform QCC activity.
