Summary of Job Responsibility
In order ensure the completeness, the validity, the accuracy and the maintenance of the accounting record, Accounting & Tax Supervisor conducts and performs General & Cost Accounting, in compliance with company’s policies as well as generally accepted accounting principles and other regulations
And in order to ensure the completeness, validity, accuracy and the maintenance of the tax operation, He/She need to assists Accounting & Tax Manager in conducting and performing taxation accounting, in compliance with company policies as well as generally accepted accounting principle and tax laws and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Maintaining petty cash and deposit in bank accounts and time deposit in banks in order to secure company’s assets, by monitoring and checking the statements/ information from banks and the data in SAP R/3 and petty cash book every day.
2. Keeping the key of big safety boxes in the Finance Director’s room, and opening and closing the big safety box up to the request of Accounting & General Senior Clerk.
3. Reporting the balance of petty cash and deposit in bank accounts and time deposit in banks to Finance & Treasury Manager every day, and obtaining the confirmation of Finance & Treasury Supervisor every day before the closing of business operation of every day.
4. Supervising and checking the whole process of payment (from the checking payment voucher until entry in the data into SAP R/3).
5. Supervising the preparation of the payment schedule in short-term range and middle term range.
6. Supervising and checking the whole process of collection of money including making time deposit.
7. Supervising and monitoring and checking the administration of the advanced payment to employee.
8. Supervising and checking the administration of the stamp duty.
9. Supervising and conducting the administration of the account payable and other payable data in SAP R/3.
10. Ensuring the accuracy of the balance and line item of the account payable and other payable in SAP R/3.
11. Preparing the supporting documents for semi-annual and annual settlement as monthly closing work basis, and submitting them to certified public accountant in performing Audit.
12. Assisting certified public accountant in performing audit fieldwork.
13. Supervising and training direct subordinates.
14. Coordinating and preparing the monthly finance and accounting work schedule list under SAP R/3, and informing it to relevant division/ department of the company
15. Developing SAP R/3 FI module by consulting with MCC SAP team/ Ryoka System Co.
16. Coordinating and maintaining the proper connection between SAP R/3 FI module and SAP R/3 other modules.
17. Ensuring that all activities related to the function of SAP R/3 FI module are complied with relevant Acts and legal demands and ethical standards.
18. Preparing and maintaining operation manual for SAP R/3 FI module.
19. Conducting and supervising the preparation of tax applications, i.e. monthly tax returns of VAT and Withholding Taxes and annual corporate income tax return and other taxation documentation in accordance with the tax regulations for submission to the tax authority.
20. Assisting Tax & Accounting Manager in conducting and preparing the documents or data requested by tax authorities for tax assessment/ audit or for other purpose in compliance with tax regulations.
21. Assisting Accounting & Tax Manager in reviewing proposed major transactions in their formative stages and advises or proposes changes to achieve the best tax result.
22. Promoting tax consciousness throughout the company.
23. Ensuring the completeness of all kinds of tax payment documentation and its proper administration.
24. Coordinating the tax assessment/ audit conducted by tax authorities in accordance with tax regulation.
25. Assisting Tax & Accounting Manager in negotiating with tax authorities in order to minimize damage from their claims.
26. Make Transfer Pricing Documents together with Tax Consultants, and give advise for related party transactions.
27. Maintaining good relations with tax advisors and tax authorities.
28. Proposing tax strategy for the company and implementing approved strategy in accordance to company\\\\\\\'s policy and in compliance with tax regulation, subject to Finance Manager\\\\\\\'s approval.
29. Supervising and conducting the filing work of all Finance division\\\\\\\'s documents, subject to the approval of Finance Manager. Coordinating, supervising and conducting the preparation of documents filing for Finance division
